Revenue Sources
IJASERD operates through a transparent and ethically accountable funding model that is clearly communicated on the journal’s website. The journal derives its revenue from several sources that support its editorial, administrative, and technological operations. The primary source of revenue is the Article Processing Charge (APC), which authors pay only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. This fee contributes to the costs of peer review management, editorial processing, online hosting, typesetting, and long-term digital preservation. The journal also receives institutional support from Universitas Halu Oleo, specifically through the Department of Agribusiness, Faculty of Agriculture, which provides administrative assistance and infrastructure essential for the journal’s sustainability.
In addition to APCs and institutional support, IJASERD may generate supplementary revenue through relevant advertising, grants, academic sponsorships, or donations that align with the journal’s mission and scope. Such external funding sources are carefully managed to ensure they do not compromise the journal’s editorial independence. Importantly, IJASERD affirms that no revenue source whether APCs, sponsorships, or institutional funding influences editorial decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated solely based on their scholarly merit, methodological rigor, originality, and relevance to the journal’s field.
By adopting a diversified but ethical revenue model, IJASERD is committed to maintaining financial transparency, ensuring sustainable operations, and supporting open access dissemination while upholding the highest standards of academic integrity.
